Additional Information

We have two 3D printers in the NGTB – The Bambu Lab X1 Carbon and the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra.

Bambu Lab X1 Carbon

The X1 Carbon is a traditional FDM printer which works by laying down filament in layers. It’s fast and supports a wide variety of materials such as PLA, Carbon Fiber, PETG, ABS and PET. Some materials look better, some are stronger, and others are more heat resistant.

Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra

The Saturn is an SLA printer which works by hardening liquid resin layer by layer. It can create models with very high detail, and can create large numbers of small models simultaneously.
