Accessing a Foliotek account for the first time

Prerequisites

First you need a Foliotek Account (they are not automatically given to students).

*Note: Your Foliotek account does not use your Gonzaga username and password*


Students, you can contact the Instructional Design & Delivery (IDD) office at idd@gonzaga.edu to request an account that will allow you to create your own digital portfolios. If you are assigned a portfolio for a course or program, the instructor will request the accounts. If you have questions about your account, please indicate the specific course or assignment in your message so you will be given access to the needed components of the program.

Ways to Access your Foliotek Account:

Canvas:

If there is a Foliotek link in an assignment or tab in the course menu of one of your Canvas courses, it will automatically log you into your Foliotek account.

Note: You only have one Foliotek account. Therefore, it does not matter which course has the link, you will land in the same place no matter which link is used.

Foliotek Website:

With this option, you will log in to the Foliotek website by following the steps listed below.

Note: *Foliotek does not currently use your Gonzaga credentials (e.g., username and password) to log in.*

Log in Steps:

  1. Go to secure.foliotek.com in your web browser to log in.
  2. Click the "Forgot your username or password?" link on the right side of the screen.
  3. Enter your full Zagmail email address in the username or email box, and click the "Email Password" Button

*Note: This will send a link to create your a password to your Zagmail account.*

  1. Follow the link that was emailed to your Zagmail and create a username and password.
  2. Log back into secure.foliotek.com with the username and password you just created anytime you need to.
