Technology Benefits for Gonzaga Faculty and Staff

24/7 On-Demand Training

Gonzaga Faculty, Staff and Students have access to several robust training resources to support professional development and technical skill-building. These free, online, and on-demand learning create flexible training opportunities and making it easy for learners of all ages to embrace technology.

LinkedIn Learning
Through our partnership with the Spokane Public Library, all GU community members can access LinkedIn Learning for free. This platform offers thousands of expert-led courses on business, creative, and technology topics. Learn more at https://researchguides.gonzaga.edu/circulation/SPL

We encourage you to explore these additional specialized learning platforms, which offer comprehensive tutorials and certifications at no cost:

  • Microsoft Learn: Master Microsoft 365, Azure, and more with guided paths.
  • Qualtrics XM Academy: Deepen your research capabilities and survey design skills.
  • Adobe Learn: Learn the ins and outs of Adobe Creative Cloud applications like Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.


Install Microsoft365 Applications on 5 Personal Devices

Your Gonzaga account is licensed to use Microsoft Office 365 and you are able to install Microsoft 365 Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) on up to 5 personal devices. When you use your Gonzaga account to install applications, your locally-installed application is connected to your GU account (so you need to be signed in).

Adobe Cloud on 2 Devices

Your Gonzaga account is licensed to use Adobe Creative Cloud and you are able to install the Adobe Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) on a personal device as well.

Zoom

Your Gonzaga account is licensed to use Zoom One and you are able to host Zoom meetings and webinars as a licensed Zoom user (i.e., not restricted to 40-minute meetings).


Next Gen Tech Bar Services

As a faculty or staff member, you have access to the Next Gen Tech Bar (NGTB) services located on the 1st floor of the Hemmingson Center. The NGTB offers a variety of technology services including:

  • 3D Printing
  • Laser Cutting/Engraving with the Glowforge
  • Virtual Reality experiences
  • Equipment checkout (laptops, cameras, tablets, adapters, and more)
