Power BI is not included in student's M365 license with GU, but they can get it separately for free. Here are the instructions: 

Instructions

  1. Visit the Microsoft Power BI download page: Microsoft Power BI Downloads (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/products/power-bi/downloads)
  2. Select "Power BI Desktop": This is the free version for personal use.
  3. Download and install: Follow the instructions to download and install Power BI Desktop on your computer
